The Queens Mosaic

The land of eternal spring, cut for Queens.

Each bracelet brings together naturally different jade tones — green, white, lavender, blue-green. No stone repeats itself, so no bracelet can be reproduced exactly.

  • Declared origin: Guatemalan jade, selected at the source.
  • Limited selection: each piece is photographed exactly as it is sold.
  • Transparency: material, treatment status and metal stated, with no over-promise.

Champagne Jade Bracelet, a real Guatemalan jade bracelet, piece B-111 — delivered in Flushing, Queens

The difference — Guatemala, land of eternal spring

Why our jade is not the jade you find in Flushing

Across Queens, nearly all the jade on offer arrives from Asia through the same import channels, with no verifiable origin and no stated treatment status. Les Jardins de Jade is rooted in Guatemala — the land of eternal spring and the only jadeite source in the Americas, in the Motagua valley. We select at the source, we show the exact piece, and we state what we know as plainly as what we do not.

What we will never claim: “Type A”, “certified” or “untreated” without written evidence. No laboratory has certified our pieces to date, and we write that down rather than leave it out. The supplier dossier — origin, workshop, treatment status, metal, dimensions — is shared on request before any purchase.

Frequently asked

Everything about Guatemalan jade

Where does the jade in your jewellery come from?
All our jade comes from the Motagua valley in Guatemala, the only jadeite deposit in the Americas and the sacred stone of the Maya. Every piece is cut and set by hand on site.
Which jade colours do you offer?
Six chromatic families: imperial jade (deep green), light green, lilac (lavender jade), milky white, translucent ice and black. Shades vary naturally from one stone to another.
Does your jade come from Asia like the jade sold in Flushing?
No. Jade sold in Queens almost always arrives from Asia through the same import channels. Our bracelets are Guatemalan jade (declared) from the Motagua valley — the only jadeite source in the Americas — assembled in a Guatemalan workshop. Each piece carries a code (B-104, B-110…) and is photographed exactly as delivered in 11354, 11355 and 11358.
Do you provide a laboratory certificate?
Not to date, and we prefer to state it rather than leave it out: no independent laboratory has certified our pieces. So we never claim “Type A”, “certified” or “untreated”. Instead, the supplier dossier — origin, workshop, treatment status, metal, dimensions, weight — is shared before purchase, and exchange stays open for 14 days.
How can I tell the jade is authentic?
It is natural, undyed jadeite: dense, cool to the touch, with visible variations and inclusions. Each creation carries a reference code (for example N-008 or R-004) identifying the piece.
Which metals are used for the settings?
Sterling silver 925, gold plate and gold-filled, depending on the creation. The metal is stated on every product.
What kinds of jade jewellery are available?
Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and matching sets (necklace with bracelet or earrings) — 54 creations in total.
Do you offer engraving or bespoke work?
Yes: custom engraving is available on rings, and bespoke pieces can be created from a chosen stone.
How should jade jewellery be cared for?
Clean the stone with a soft, slightly damp cloth — no chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners — and store it away from impacts. Jade gains patina and lustre as it is worn.
